സ്നേഹം കൊണ്ടു മറയ്ക്കാനാകാത്ത മനുഷ്യന്റെ പകയുടെ കഥ പറയുന്ന പടമാണ് മനു വാര്യർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത കുരുതി.ജനനം മുതൽ നമ്മളെ ആരെയൊക്കെയോ വെറുക്കാൻ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വ്യവസ്ഥിതിയെ ആണ് പടത്തിലുടനീളം വരച്ചു കാട്ടുന്നത്. കളയും ജെല്ലികെട്ടും കഥ പറഞ്ഞ രീതി നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമായെങ്കിൽ കുരുതിയും നിരാശപ്പെടുത്തില്ല. മണ്ണൊലിപ്പിൽ സ്വന്തക്കാരെ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട് നാട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് മാറി ഉൾവലിഞ്ഞു ജീവിക്കുന്ന ടാപ്പിങ് തൊഴിലാളി ആയ ഇബ്രുവിന്റെ(റോഷൻ) കൂടെ വയസ്സായ പിതാവ് ഹംസയും(മാമുക്കോയ) അനിയൻ റസൂലുമാണ്(Naslen) വീട്ടിലുള്ളത്.ഭാര്യയും കുട്ടിയും ഇബ്രുവിന് നഷ്ടമാകുന്നത് മണ്ണിടിച്ചിൽ ആണ്.തൊട്ടടുത്ത വീട്ടുകാരായി സുമതിയും(സൃന്ധ) സഹോദരൻ പ്രേമനും (മണികണ്ഠനാചരി)കഥയിലേക്ക് എത്തുന്നു.ഒരു പോലീസ് ജീപ്പ് അക്രമിക്കുന്നതിനെ ധ്വനിപ്പിച്ചു തുടങ്ങുന്ന ചിത്രം പതിയെ നീങ്ങി ചൂടാവുന്നത് പിന്നീട് പോലീസ് ഓഫീസർ ആയ മുരളി ഗോപി മത സംഘർഷത്തിനിടെ ഒരാളെ കൊന്ന പ്രതിയുമായി ഹംസയുടെ വീട്ടിൽ എത്തുന്നതോടെയാണ്. ബാക്കി കഥ നടക്കുന്നത് ഇരുട്ടിന്റെ അകമ്പടിയിൽ ആ വീട്ടിലാണ്.ബാക്കിയുള്ള ഓരോ കഥാപാത്രവും വല്യ വിരസത ഇല്ലാതെ രംഗപ്രവേശനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.നേരത്തെ കുത്തേറ്റ് മരിച...
